The Orlando Police have released new footage from the 2016 Pulse Nightclub massacre, the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history.

The 15 hours of footage was released to The Orlando Sentinel, showing the June 12, 2016 attack, in which 29-year-old Omar Mateen opened fire inside the popular gay nightclub, killing 49 people.

The series of 30 videos published by the Sentinel show the tense standoff between Mateen and police, that lasted three hours and ended with Mateen’s death.

According to the Sentinel, Belle Isle police officer Brandon Cornwell was making his way into the club through a broken window before taking “cover behind a bar as Orlando police officers yelled commands toward the bathroom where gunman Omar Mateen had cornered survivors.” Officers can be heard shooting at Mateen, before continuing their search for survivors.

In November, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office released their own body cam images, showing authorities rushing survivors to safety outside the nightclub.

Mateen, an American-born son of Afghan immigrants, pledged allegiance to ISIS before the attack in a 911 call, and had a history of violent behavior and virulent homophobia. He died in a shootout with police, after killing 49 and injuring 53 more.
